Retail and pharmacy chain London Drugs has closed all of its stores in Western Canada temporarily due to what it calls an “operational issue.”
The company didn’t say much else in its announcement yesterday on social media — only that pharmacists will be able to help with any urgent needs.
But various news outlets reported London Drugs shared by email that it is dealing with a cybersecurity incident, and the stores were closed as a precaution.
London Drugs has over 80 stores across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and B-C.
There are three locations in Saskatoon and two stores in Regina.
