The Moose Jaw RCMP are investigating human remains found in a rural area northeast of Moose Jaw.
A forensic anthropologist and pathologist examined the remains and believe they may have been at the location for 10 years or longer.
The remains were found on April 28, and the individual has not been identified.
At this time, investigators do not believe the death was suspicious.
People in the Moose Jaw area may see an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
The investigation will look into historical missing persons in the area.
