Saskatchewan embodied its nickname of land of the living skies over the weekend with a dazzling display of northern lights.
According to the Weather Network, the weekend experienced the “most extreme” geomagnetic storm since 2003, meaning the Aurora Borealis was seen further south across Canada and into the U.S.
Friday night was the first night that people really got a good look at the phenomenon.
