One final quest for the Edmonton Oilers begins Saturday, as all of Canada will be watching.
The Oilers are chasing the Stanley Cup and are looking to be the first Canadian team to lift Lord Stanley since the Montreal Canadiens did it back in 1993.
Tickets to the cup final have been hard to come by, but that isn’t stopping anyone from watching the game with a crowd.
The Canadian Brewhouse has become one of the more popular destinations for people who want to watch the game.
Close to 500 people will be at the Stonebridge location in Saskatoon for game one.
Jailynn Pendlebury, Manager said people who are coming down can expect a great atmosphere.
“They can expect a full house, definitely a party atmosphere,” said Pendlebury. “We have a whole bunch of specials.”
Some of those specials include Orange and Blue Oilers themed-shooters.
There are some other fun gimmicks people will notice, like if the Oilers win La Bamba will be played.
“We have an air horn here so that goes off quite a bit throughout the night,” said Pendlebury. “We also have rink lights so the red hockey rink lights that go off.”
The Canadian Brewhouse is hoping to make it feel like you are at the game without actually being there.
