Police are asking for help from the public as they work to find a man who allegedly attacked two people with a knife while they were preparing for a yard sale.
According to police, the attack happened on Thursday at a home on 17th Avenue just before 11:30 a.m.
Carol Bell, who lives next door to the victims, said her neighbours were getting ready for the sale to begin when they were attacked.
“My neighbour next door, the husband was standing out front with his neighbour next to him,” said Bell. “They were just standing and talking. Someone came down the street, pulled a knife and stabbed them.”
Both victims were taken to hospital by paramedics.

“Police are asking for anyone who was in the River Heights and Cathedral neighborhoods to check their security cameras, dash-cams, and doorbell cameras in the area between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for a male with a medium to heavy build, black hair, and wearing a blue shirt with black print pattern, and black pants,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The male was last seen walking eastbound from Wascana Street and 14th Avenue.”
Anyone with information on the case was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
“I was so taken aback to see all this,” Bell added. “This is a very quiet neighbourhood.”
