A 39-year-old Regina man is facing a slew of charges after a collision at Broad Street and Fourth Avenue sent a 64-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries on Thursday.
Regina Police Service (RPS) said in a news release on Friday that the man charged was also involved in another hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Albert Street and 1st Avenue the same day.
RPS said earlier multiple vehicles collided on Broad Street just after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, leaving the man with serious injuries.
Police said initial investigation indicated the suspect had collided with the victim before hitting two other vehicles stopped at the intersection. He then ran away.
Police said the man charged was found in a business on the 1000 block of Broad Street and arrested.
He is facing charges that include failing to stop after an accident, driving causing bodily harm, assault of a peace officer, attempted theft of a vehicle, and assault.
He made his first appearance on these charges in court on Friday. Police did not specify which charges relate to which collision.
