For part of the afternoon on Wednesday people of Regina were seeing smoke just east of the city. Regina’s fire department said crews were called to a semi-truck on fire on the bypass.
Regina police said they were called to assist the fire crews at 3:05 p.m.
Police said the northbound lanes on the bypass just north of Highway 33 were closed. But one lane has since reopened.
There were no reported injuries.
