A girl under the age of 12 was declared deceased by EMS on scene according to the release.

1 kid dead, 2 kids in hospital after pedestrian collision: Kamsack RCMP

Kamsack RCMP responded to a collision with four pedestrians, three children and one adult on Key First Nation just before 3 p.m. on Saturday.
A girl under the age of 12 was declared deceased by EMS on scene according to the release.
The two other girls, both under the age of 12 as well, “were transported to hospital with injuries described as serious.”
The man had no life-threatening injuries according to police.
Police arrested a 62-year-old man on Keeeseekoose First Nation.
RCMP said he was charged with:
one count, failure to stop after accident resulting in death, Section 320.16(3), Criminal Code;
three counts, operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration greater than 80 mg causing bodily harm, Section 320.14(2), Criminal Code; and
one count, operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration greater than 80 mg causing death, Section 320.14(2), Criminal Code.
