The Regina Police Service responded to a report of theft around 7 p.m. on Sunday at a gas bar in the 4400 block of Rochdale Boulevard.
According to police, “the man entered the store, took merchandise and exited. When staff confronted the male, the male pulled out a knife, and fled.”
Police located the suspect just before midnight in the 3900 block of Rochedale Boulevard while on another call. Police located a knife on him.
In the police release, “He was transported to cells, and upon booking, it was determined the male provided a false name to police. The male was properly identified and found to be in breach of conditions of two release orders.”
