Yorkton RCMP are hunting for a 20-year-old from Kamsack area after a man was sent to hospital after being seriously assaulted on Sept. 5.
Police said in a news release on Sept. 17 that charges had been laid against two men and two male youths after the incident, where RCMP were called to a business in the 100 block of Broadway Street in Yorkton and found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital.
The two youths were arrested on Sept. 13 and remain in custody, police said. They were both charged with robbery with a weapon and aggravated assault, and one of them was also charged with wearing a disguise.
A 30-year-old man from the Kamsack area was arrested on Sept. 5 and charged with robbery with a weapon and aggravated assault. He appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on Sept. 6 and was remanded in custody, police said. He is next scheduled to appear on Sept. 23.
RCMP are still looking for 20-year-old Derrick Brass, also from the Kamsack area for the same charges. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Brass is 5-foot-5 and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he should not be approached. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to inform Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at saskcrimestoppers.com.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
