Saskatchewan RCMP is looking for a Buffalo Narrows man after a search of a home in the village as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
RCMP said in a news release on Sept. 27 that the warrant was executed on Sept. 18 by the Buffalo Narrows detachment and the Prince Albert crime reduction team, and officers seized drug trafficking paraphernalia, as well as methamphetamine, crack and powder cocaine at the home.
A 46-year-old man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Buffalo Narrows Provincial Court on Nov. 13.
As well, a warrant was issued for 48-year-old Roland Hanson of Buffalo Narrows, who is facing the same charge.
Hanson is about 5-foot-5 and 150 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He has two scars, one on his forehead above his right eyebrow and one on his right forearm. Police say he should not be approached.
Anyone who has seen Hanson or knows where he is, is asked to contact Buffalo Narrows RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267) or to inform Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at saskcrimestoppers.com.
