Sarah Mills says parents are probably breathing a sigh of relief as kids head back to school after the Easter break.
Pierceland RCMP and the Saskatchewan Corners Service are investigating a sudden death at Mudie Lake on Island Lake First Nation.
Police were called to a home on the reserve on Wednesday at around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a sudden death. Officers along with local EMS responded and located a deceased individual at the scene. They were not identified.
The investigation continues. As of now, the investigation has not prompted any risk to public safety. Police will provide updates as they become available.
