Police in Saskatchewan are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly bear sprayed a man and forced him out of his vehicle at a business in Whitewood shortly before noon on Monday.
The suspect then took off in the man’s vehicle, the RCMP said, hitting him with his own vehicle in the process.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the Mounties added.
Police caught up with the stolen vehicle on the Cowessess First Nation, and four occupants took off on foot.
“Two of the four occupants have been located. No charges have been laid against them at this time,” the RCMP said in a statement. “Broadview RCMP continue to search for suspect in the robbery, as well as the fourth occupant in the vehicle.”
Police said the suspect is 25 to 30 years old, and six feet tall. When he was last seen, he was wearing a white or grey hoodie and sweat pants.
The Mounties asked members of the public to report all sightings of the suspect or any information that could help officers identify him.
“If seen, do not approach him. Report sightings and information to Broadview RCMP immediately by dialling 310-RCMP,” the RCMP said.
Whitewood is located on Highway 1, about 175 kilometres east of Regina.
Second concerning carjacking in less than a week
On Thursday morning, a dangerous person alert was issued by the RCMP following a violent carjacking north of Prince Albert, which saw the victim shot before his truck was stolen.
Two suspects in that case were arrested the same day, while two others remain at large. An online fundraiser has also been established to help raise money for the victim.
Earlier in the month, the RCMP asked the public to be vigilant after multiple vehicles were allegedly stolen at gunpoint in the Prince Albert area.
