A food drive in support of the Regina Food Bank just made a big impact.
Regina’s Jack 94.5 Stuff the Bus campaign collected 172,727 meals to help local families this holiday season.
On Nov. 1, Sheri and Woody, and the crew from Jack 94.5 were live from all three of Regina’s Sherwood Co-op Food Stores accepting food donations and cash donations for the Regina Food Bank.
Proceeds from Friday’s event will be used by the Regina Food Bank to purchase essential items needed to complete their Christmas Hampers and stock their shelves as they head into the busy holiday season.

“Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who were able to donate food or funds to this event. An incredible shout out to Sherwood Co-op for hosting this year’s Stuff the Bus at not one, but all three locations in Regina and of course, thank you to Jack 94.5 for putting on this event and giving folks in our city the opportunity to support their neighbour”.
During the holiday season the food bank not only provides families with their regular hampers, but over 2,500 special holiday hampers.
