It might not be the videotron at Mosaic Stadium, but it’s still a big screen.

Jason Longworth is the owner of the theatre, and said it’s a free family-friendly event.
“We aren’t going to be serving alcohol or anything like that, so it is kind of more a family-friendly affair,” he said.
“You can bring the little ones along, or you can just come along and it just gives you an opportunity to watch it on the big screen. So we just want people to come out, have a good time and enjoy the game!”
There’s no charge to watch the game, but seating is limited to about 100 people.
Longworth said fans can secure a seat by purchasing a $5 concession voucher ticket.
“If you don’t have one of those vouchers ahead of time, you can always pop in see if we have seats available,” he said.

The event is currently between 40 to 50 per cent full, and Longworth suspects there will be another 25 per cent of drop ins.
Longworth is a big Riders fan and hopes people pack the movie theatre to watch the big game.
He hopes Saskatchewan wins and heads to the Grey Cup, when he plans to host another watch party.
“If they did move on to the next round, we would for sure look at doing another event,” he said.
“Depending on the outcome of this one, we possibly look at opening up multiple screens and more seats as well.”
He said the theatre hosts watch parties for away games and encourages fans to go to the stadium when the Riders are at home.
“It is a local business, and we like to encourage people to go and support them in person,” Longworth said.
“But all the road games are big targets for us, because we know fans can’t always make that travel.”
The Riders take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday in the CFL West Division final. Kickoff for the game is set for 5:30 p.m.
