A man, a boy and a girl are all facing charges after allegedly assaulting and robbing a woman in Regina, after threatening her with a gun and a knife.
According to police, officers were called to Higgins Bay, in Regina’s Uplands neighbourhood, on Friday. The officers learned that a woman had been approached by three people who threatened her with the weapons before assaulting her and fleeing with her belongings.

“Police located and arrested the two males in the area of Higgins Bay and Lloyd Crescent,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“A search of the males revealed a knife, a firearm, and ammunition. The female youth also involved in the robbery was also located nearby and found to be in breach of conditions.”
Police said the three people who were arrested – a 19-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl – are all facing criminal charges. The man and boy, who are both charted with armed robbery using a restricted firearm and carrying a concealed weapon, appeared in court on Monday, while the girl, who is charged with robbery and breaching conditions, will appear on January 2.
