“The Beach Boys are one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful bands of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide,” the group’s official website reads.
“Between the 1960s and today, the group had over 80 songs chart worldwide, 36 of them in the US Top 40 (the most by a US rock band), and four topping the Billboard Hot 100.”
While the band has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years, Mike Love, one of the group’s founding members, will be with the Beach Boys on the tour, providing the classic vocals fans know and love.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m., with a Spotify presale on Wednesday and a venue presale on Thursday.
