A 20-year-old man from Little Black Bear First Nation has died and File Hills Police Service determined his death was suspicious in nature.
This happened on Dec. 18, at approximately 10:30 a.m., File Hills Police Service received a report of an injured person at a home on the First Nation.
Little Black Bear First Nation is located approximately, 128 km north east of Regina.
Police responded and found the hurt man, who was declared dead by EMS at the scene.
His family has been notified.
An investigation determined the man’s death was suspicious. A 20-year-old woman from Little Black Bear First Nation was arrested at the scene.
Following further investigation, the woman was charged with one count of manslaughter.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is continuing to investigate.
