In the early hours of Christmas, police were called to the 1600 block of 11th Avenue where a man had been hit by a vehicle.
The man was attended to by EMS and was taken to hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.
There is no further update on his condition.
The driver remained on the scene.
The incident is still under investigation with the help of traffic collision investigators and the Forensic Identification Unit.
