On the evening of Dec. 26, Regina Police said it was conducting a death investigation, now the death has been ruled the city’s 6th homicide of 2024.
This happened just before 6:00 p.m. on Boxing Day around 8th Avenue and Retallack Street.
When police arrived, they found the victim lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries.
Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived where they continued life-saving measures but were unsuccessful.
The death is being treated as a homicide and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service is continuing to investigate.

Police are asking drivers and pedestians to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
