Saskatchewan RCMP has charged a woman with cocaine and fentanyl trafficking after an arrest in Nipawin on Dec. 20.
RCMP said in a news release on Dec. 30 that Nipawin RCMP received a report of a vehicle that was stuck in the ditch near Weirdale around 11:40 p.m., but the woman who was the driver had left the scene on foot.

Police said that officers found that the woman was wanted on a warrant for driving while disqualified from Saskatoon Police Service, and was also subject to court-ordered curfew conditions.
They soon found the woman sitting in a vehicle in Nipawin. Police said that when she was arrested a search of the vehicle found 262 grams of cocaine, money and various pre-packaged drugs.
As well as the trafficking charges, a 43-year-old woman from White Fox also faces charges including possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and uttering threats.
She was scheduled to appear in court in Melfort on Dec. 30, and RCMP said their investigation was ongoing.
