A 40-year-old man from Meadow Lake was killed in a single-vehicle rollover on Thursday.
According to the RCMP, officers were notified of the crash on Highway 55, just east of Flying Dust First Nation, at around 6:15 a.m.

The Meadow Lake man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, and his family has been notified.
The highway was closed temporarily after the crash, but is once again open to traffic.
“Meadow Lake RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the Mounties said in a statement.
A separate crash on Thursday claimed the life of a 35-year-old Saskatoon man. According to police, that crash happened on Highway 14 east of Biggar when a car and semi collided.
