'Continue to build': Pats look to future as WHL trade deadline passes

The Regina Pats have five picks in the first two rounds of this year's WHL draft.
A crash on Highway 14 east of Biggar left a 35-year-old Saskatoon man dead on Thursday.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to the scene of the crash, which involved a car and a semi, at around 12:40 p.m.

The driver and sole occupant of the car was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, while the driver of the semi was taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 14 was closed during the initial response to the crash, but has since re-opened, the RCMP noted.
