The woman charged in the death of a three-month-old baby boy back in 2023, has been released from jail.
During the bail hearing on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 16, the 23-year-old woman appeared via video call as the judge granted her release with a number of strict conditions.
That includes not having any contact with anyone under 12 unless she has written permission and an adult who knows her charges is present.
She also is not allowed to enter bars, liquor stores, or cannabis stores.

Two of her family members in the gallery were crying, with one hugging the other when the judge announced her release from custody.
The woman also appeared to be wiping her tears and sniffling during the hearing.
Her family declined 980 CJME’s request for comment on her release.
The 23-year-old woman is charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death, after an infant was found unresponsive, lying on the floor at a home in Regina, back on Aug. 16, 2023. The baby died a short time later.
