When officers arrived, the driver was found to be asleep behind the wheel.
“He was arrested as officers located an imitation handgun, two knives, brass knuckles, bear spray and an extendable baton inside the vehicle,” the police service explained in a statement.
“After searching the vehicle further, police located meth, fentanyl, cocaine, cannabis, cash and various other items consistent with drug trafficking. The driver was also found to be in possession of a glass pipe.”
The dozy driver, a 30-year-old man from Saskatoon, is now facing three drug charges, six charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, and a single charge of possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
