RCMP suspects that a man captured on surveillance video after a break-in at the curling rink in Wadena in January may be connected to other break-ins of municipal offices and small businesses in Saskatchewan over the past few years.
Wadena RCMP said in a Jan. 31 news release that officer received a report of the Wadena break-in on Jan. 10, but no items were reported as stolen to police, and the man left before police got there.

The man had a beard or goatee, and was seen in the video wearing a two-coloured jacket, glasses, gloves and a backpack.
RCMP said that investigators believe that this break-in may be connected to others in southern and central Saskatchewan over the past few years, adding that as it was an an active and ongoing investigation, they could not provide a list of the potentially-connected incidents.
