Police said officers responded to a report that a man had been injured and taken to the hospital. Police do not have an update on his condition.
After the incident, the suspect fled in a damaged, dark-coloured extended cab truck driven by another guy. The shooter was described as a man in a tan jacket and black hat, while the driver wore all black.
RCMP then issued a warning to the public not to approach the vehicle or suspects, as they were considered armed and dangerous. Officers also increased their presence in the community as they conducted their investigation.
With both suspects now in custody, RCMP has not released further details but assured that updates will be provided as they become available.
