A woman and two men are facing a combined total of 64 charges after Saskatchewan RCMP connected them to a Landis bank robbery in November 2024 and “a string of ATM thefts and attempted thefts.”
RCMP said in a Feb. 17 news release the charges related to ATMs took place across south and central Saskatchewan between Nov. 22, 2024 and Jan. 1, 2025.

Police said the investigation included widespread coordination involving many detachments, police units, as well as Crime Stoppers, to connect incidents reported in Dodsland, Rosetown, Gull Lake, Lemberg, Wolseley, Craven, Neilburg, Marshall, Battleford, Purdue, and Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation.
The investigation eventually led police to a home in Biggar, where officers executed a search warrant on Feb. 5.
In the search, officers found items believed to be connected to both the ATM occurrences and Landis bank robbery. A 36-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were arrested at the time of the search.
The woman is facing 16 charges, including:
- three counts of break and entering
- one count of theft over $5000
- six counts of theft under $5000 and
- six counts of mischief damage to property of a value over $5000.
The man has been charged with 24 offences including:
- three counts of break and entering
- one count of break and entering with the intent to commit an offence
- seven counts of wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an offence
- one count of theft over $5000
- six counts of theft under $5000
- five counts of mischief damage to property of a value over $5000 and
- one count of mischief damage to property of a value under $5000.
A 48-year-old man from Rosetown was then arrested on Feb. 12 and faces 24 charges including:
- one count of break and entering with the intent to commit an offence
- two counts of break and entering with the intent to commit an offence
- one count of robbery with “other offensive weapon”
- seven counts of wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an offence
- one count of theft over $5000
- six counts of theft under $5000 and
- six counts of mischief damage to property of a value over $5000
The man and woman from Biggar are scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on April 7, while the man from Rosetown is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on April 14.
“Complex investigations like this involve extensive resources and large-scale coordination across multiple detachment areas,” Sgt. Adam Buckingham of North Battleford Provincial RCMP general investigations section said in the release.
“The sheer number of crimes solved in this investigation really highlights the successful collaboration between support units of the RCMP and front-line officers.”
