A rollover north of Shellbrook on Feb. 21 claimed one life and sent two people to hospital.
At around 11:30 p.m., Shellbrook Fire and Rescue was dispatched to Highway 55 towards Big River.Two occupants were found trapped inside the vehicle and the jaws of life were utilized to extricate them. Both were taken to hospital.

The third occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name and age of the dead man has not been released but a source close to the incident confirmed the man, who was a passenger, was 44.
Firefighters closed the highway and secured the scene with RCMP to await the coroner and a RCMP traffic reconstruction analyst. They remained on scene for approximately six hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
