A 21-year-old Regina man is facing a string of criminal charges – including attempted murder – after allegedly shooting a youth early on Saturday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 1300 block of Pasqua Street just before 2 a.m. after getting a report that a male suspect had shot the victim before fleeing.

“Upon arrival, police located one injured youth who was attended to by EMS and transported to hospital with serious injuries,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“A short while later, police located an adult male matching the description on the 1500 block of Pasqua Street. A search revealed a pistol. The male was arrested without incident.”
Police said the 21-year-old man is now facing three charges of attempted murder and three charges of pointing a firearm, along with a number of other gun-related charges.
He made his first court appearance on Monday morning, police said.
