Police with Saskatoon’s Guns and Gangs unit made several arrests and seized cash, cocaine and fentanyl after an investigation into what police called a “dial-a-dope drug trafficking operation.”
On Wednesday, police arrested the two men, ages 26 and 30, at a business on Eighth Street East.
Police said the two men are facing eight charges related to drug trafficking and the proceeds of crime.
“Following their arrests, a search warrant was then executed at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue U South where two women and three men were also arrested on a combined total of 17 unrelated criminal code warrants,” police said in a statement.
All told, police seized 42 grams of crack cocaine, 7.5 grams of powder cocaine, 13.5 grams of “brown fentanyl,” six cell phones, more than $1,200 in cash, and “assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.”
