The Regina Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are working together to investigate a death.
According to police, officers and paramedics were called to a home on East College Avenue in the city’s Al Ritchie neighbourhood just after midnight on Thursday for a report of an injured man.

Police found the injured man at the scene and attempted first aid, but he was ultimately pronounced dead by paramedics.
“Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit,” the police service said in a statement.
“At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The deceased male’s name will not be released at this time.”
