Environment Canada has issued severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for parts of southeastern Saskatchewan.
Carlyle, Stoughton, Broadview, Kipling, Moosomin, Wolseley, Esterhazy, Langenburg and Saltcoats — as well as a list of rural municipalities — have been included in the watch as of 5:53 p.m.
As of 5:42 p.m., some towns in the same areas are also under a severe thunderstorm warning — including Arcola, Stoughton, Ocean Man First Nation, Broadview, Cowessess First Nation, Kamsack, Canora, Preeceville, Melville and Yorkton.
According to Environment Canada, these storms could include hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
