So the week of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats has been interesting to say the least.
The Art Briles controversy kicked things off as they embarrassed themselves across North America. Some fans still feel betrayed and that the hollow apologies weren’t enough to make up for a terrible decision.
The new head coach June Jones was clearly against the move to release Briles, which didn’t endear him to the fan base.
Then they announce they’re benching the highest paid player in the league in Zach Collaros for veteran back-up Jeremiah Masoli.
Oh, then the Johnny Manziel workout breaks as they go from a guy who enabled sex offenders to an addict and alleged domesitic abuser.
Kent Austin is being sued and then late Wednesday night the news breaks Zach Collaros is being shopped around with the Argonauts making an offer and the Riders also potentialy interested.
There is a reason this team is 0-8 and we’re seeing why. And not one person is to blame. The man known as Caretaker Bob needs to clean up his organization because this is down right embarrassing.
And it’s only Thursday.
