Over 3,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice.
Regina police and the chief coroner are investigating after a woman’s body was found east of Ring Road Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the 1100 block of Ring Road around 1:37 p.m.
Police said a driver pulled over to help a person in the ditch. When the person didn’t appear to be moving, the driver called police.
Once on the scene, EMS confirmed the woman in the ditch was dead.
Police said the focus right now is identifying the woman, then contacting her next-of-kin.
Major Crimes and Forensic Identification continue to investigate.
