'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Two men were found dead in a room at a motel on the Trans-Canada Highway in Moosomin Monday afternoon.
RCMP were called to the business around 2 p.m.
Police said investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding these two sudden deaths, but noted there is no risk to public safety.
The incident happened at the Prarie Pride Motel. A manager found the two bodies during a routine check on the guests.
RCMP added the men won’t be identified as next of kin has not been notified.
Moosomin RCMP, Yorkton Forensic Identification Section and the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating. Autopsies are scheduled later this week in Regina.
