The city is trying to respond to one of the top concerns of people living in Saskatoon by filling an estimated 100,000 potholes since early April.
It was announced during a news conference on Friday. So far this summer, 2,300 potholes have been reported online. The city said they rate every reported pothole based on size, whether it’s in a driving lane or curb lane, the priority of the street and the level of danger it poses.
The city has also fixed 642 utility cuts this season, caused when crews need to fix underground pipes.
To report potholes, people can use the report-a-pothole map.
