A Saskatoon drug bust is just more evidence out-of-town drug dealers doing business in the Bridge City.
On Friday July 24, Saskatoon police’s drug enforcement team noticed a rental car in the area of Avenue W and 17th Street.
Officers pulled the car over and searched the two occupants and the vehicle, locating more than $2,000 cash and 26 chunks of hard cocaine packaged for trafficking.
A 28-year-old Toronto man and a 22-year-old Saskatoon woman face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possessions of the proceeds of crime. Both were due for their first appearance in provincial court on Monday.
