It’s not often that you get to cheer on your high school choir, but a local radio contest is down to the final three to see which choir will get to sing on stage with Foreigner.
The contest is called “I Wanna Know Who the Choir Is” and the winner will get to join the band on stage during the upcoming concert at Conexus Arts Centre in Regina on Oct. 16. The concert is part of the band’s 40th anniversary tour.
Several high school choirs from southern Saskatchewan submitted videos online of their renditions the classic rock ballad I Wanna Know What Love Is. The top three finalist choirs chosen were Campbell Collegiate Choir, Sheldon-Williams Collegiate Vocal Jazz Choir, and Weyburn Comprehensive Stars Choir.
You can vote for the best choir on the Jack 94.5 Regina Facebook page until 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. The winner will be announced by Sheri and Woody on the 94.5 Jack FM Morning Show on Oct.10.
