Just like Fast Passes at Disney theme parks, you can pay to jump to the front of the line for rides at the Queen City Ex.
“The cost of the pass is in conjunction with tickets or with your wrist bracelet and it’s $20 and it gets you front of the line access to all of our 45 rides here at the Queen City Ex,” explained Scooter Korek with North American Midways.
This is the fourth year for the promotion at all the stops across Canada.
He said sales of the express passes to are limited to 1,500 people per day, and there is a 20 per cent ratio for people with regular tickets and people with express passes to get on each ride.
“If a ride holds 20 passengers then four passengers we determine as express-access passengers and those customers are loaded first and they get front of the line access,” he said.
Korek says Midway staff constantly monitor the lines to make sure the express passes aren’t interrupting the enjoyment of regular customers who have to wait.
Korek says the passes are popular for thrill-seekers who want to pack in as many rides as possible in a day.
