The gun was fake, but the charges are very real.
Jesse Coulson, a 32 year-old-man, was arrested Thursday morning after walking around the 800 block of Albert street with what appeared to be a gun tucked in his waist band.
Police were called to the block after a woman saw Coulson, who was wearing only his undershorts, with his clothes spread all around him and what appeared to be a handgun.
The police took Coulson into custody without incident and found that the handgun was actually an Airsoft or BB gun.
He has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. Coulson was released but will appear in provincial court on September 22, 2015.
