The combined Saskatchewan policing arm that looks into organized crime groups has laid drug trafficking charges in Saskatoon.
Two men, ages 36 and 37, were arrested Wednesday for possessing methamphetamine and MDMA for the purposes of trafficking.
RCMP and police from Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Regina took part in the investigation.
After the arrests, police said officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Avenue M North in Saskatoon. They also looked at a vehicle the two men were found in.
Both the arrest and subsequent searches led to the seizure of around three kilograms, or six pounds, of methamphetamine, eight ounces of MDMA and a small amount of marijuana.
Both men, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and MDMA, and for possessing marijuana.
They were scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday afternoon.
