RCMP in Yorkton have charged James Patrick Loder with possessing explosives and stolen property.
Officers were called about some explosives. A search warrant was executed after a man allegedly threatened his former employer and others. They seized a “large quantity of explosives” and other property believed to be stolen during a visit to a home on 4th Avenue in Yorkton on Tuesday night.
The RCMP’s Explosives Disposal Unit removed the explosives from the property.
The homeowner, a 39-year-old man, was arrested and taken into custody.
He has been released on conditions. Loder is to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on Oct. 5.
