Glen Suitor would love a front office job with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Suitor, an analyst with The Green Zone and TSN, was asked by News Talk Radio if he had any interest in a job with the team after general manager Brendan Taman and head coach Corey Chamblin were fired.
“I’m sure they are putting together a list now. Let’s put it this way, I would be honoured if I was on it. I would listen and talk to them and see what the future could hold,” Suitor said.
The former Saskatchewan Roughrider said he’s been itching to get back in the game the last few years.
“If I was going to do that, I would like to do it in the offices and not on the coaching side of the game. In the corporate office or in the GM position, assistant GM position,” he said.
The Riders have their first practice under new head coach Bob Dyce on Wednesday. Watching from the stands will be new general manager Jeremy O’Day. Both men have been labeled interim.
Suitor said he enjoys the television side of his job but would be interested in a change.
