Sunday’s Grey Cup is a game that sees the Calgary Stampeders heavily favoured once again.
Where have we seen that before? Oh right, last year’s Grey Cup when the line was actually a record for biggest set margin of victory by oddsmakers.
This year is over half of what it was last year for the Toronto Argonauts, but they’re still the underdog just the same.
The Stampeders look like a different team this week than they were last year. A lot less cocky and a lot more motivated as the disrespect shown going into the West Final still burns.
However, the Argonauts are led by three men who know how to win. Ricky Ray, head coach Marc Trestmen and even defensive coordinator Corey Chamblin.
You want to talk about a team that will be calm, cool and collected on a big stage, I’m taking the Argonauts over the emotional and ill-tempered Stamps.
I’m actually predicting an upset in this year’s Grey Cup. Maybe it’s Ricky Ray’s turn to walk off into the sunset like Henry Burris did last year.
Argos 28-Calgary 25. Enjoy the game.
