A Regina woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly beating up a 71-year-old man when they agreed to meet at a motel.
Police officers were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue around 2:50 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2017, where they found an injured man.
The man said that he had met a 20-year-old woman earlier in the day and arranged to meet her at the motel. When the meeting was set to take place, the victim said the woman arrived with another man and began to physically attack him.
Police said the pair then allegedly stole the man’s truck which has now been found.
An investigation led to the arrest of Hailee Deandra Kimbley.
Kimbley is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.
She made her first court appearance Wednesday morning.
