Regina police have now deemed the death of a 35-year-old man, who died early Sunday morning, the city’s ninth homicide of the year.
Around 2:45 a.m., officers were called about an injured man in the 1200 block of Retallack Street.
The man was then rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The forensic identification unit and the office of the chief coroner are now working in conjunction with Regina police to fully investigate the circumstances around the man’s death.
Police have identified the man and his family has been notified of his death. The man’s identity will be released at a later date.
