My new year’s resolution for 2018.
To enjoy it!
Not that I didn’t enjoy 2017, but this year has so much to look forward to for the sports enthusiast in Saskatchewan.
The Regina Pats have tonnes planned ahead of hosting the Memorial Cup in May, including February’s outdoor game, which involves a hall of a fame-laden roster for a legends game.
The Memorial Cup itself will be a blast.
The Tim Hortons Brier is back in the province with Regina hosting Canada’s top curlers in a new format to make its debut. The Brier Patch is where you’ll find a lot of Saskatchewan that week.
Later on in the year, you have the top women golfers in the world including Canada phenom Brooke Henderson converging on the Wascana Country Club for the CP Canadian Women’s Open.
And to top it all off, Rider Nation is expecting another improved season and if you can improve on 10 wins, you’re going places in the CFL.
Happy New Year and here’s to a fantastic 2018.
