The RCMP believes somebody has been stealing farm equipment near Englefeld.
An entire 2007 swather was stolen from a field overnight from on Sept. 1 in the RM of Saint Peter near the village, which is about 145 kilometres west of Saskatoon. It’s worth about $75,000.
The swather was later found damaged, about a half a kilometre north of Englefeld but the swather roller is still missing.
Between Sept. 27 and 28, a ride-on tractor and dump trailer were stolen from a vacant farm property near the village – valued at about $2,850 altogether.
RCMP haven’t said if the two thefts are linked, but are asking for help in solving them.
Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP.
