A fire at the old curling rink in Yorkton has been brought under control by Yorkton firefighters Thursday morning.
Some nearby homes had to be evacuated as firefighters fought the flames. Firefighters say none of those homes were lost. About 25 people were affected.
The fire chief said the building was being renovated. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
